Change RDP port – the default port is 3389 – change it in regedit to some random number

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp\PortNumber.

And forward/open the port in modem/router/firewall (include windows firewall)
